"This exuberant cabernet has the manzanita spiciness of Diamond Mountain. That woodsy spice turns toward fruit sweetness in the finish, refreshed by a cool, green edge of dill. The wine's purple fruit places it with braised boar or venison."

"Forward and delicious, this offers waves of blackberries, cherries, currants, anise and cedar that are wrapped in firm yet supple tannins. Drink now-2016." -SH (4/1/13)
